If that is where you are staying it is the only direct public service; if it is not, it is the slow way to the wrong side of the Golden Horn.

From Transportation floor -2 to Aksaray Metro, at the western edge of the old city, via Nurtepe, Ayvansaray and Ulubatlı. 90 min Aksaray is the old city's transport hub, not its center: four T1 tram stops from Sultanahmet and one M1 stop from Yenikapı. Useful for the old city and for anyone changing to the M1 or the Marmaray; not for Taksim.
