These do not go to the same place, so price is not the comparison. The Pre-booked private transfer reaches Taksim Square and the Gayrettepe–Şişli stretch of the M2, where the airport metro ends; the Havaist coach to Sultanahmet does not. The old city — Sultanahmet, Eminönü and Sirkeci — rather than Taksim. If that is where you are staying it is the only direct public service; if it is not, it is the slow way to the wrong side of the Golden Horn.
