Havaist's Aksaray coach (line HVL-1) is the one direct public service: TRY 470 per person, 90 minutes, every 40 minutes by day and through the night (00:20, 01:00, 02:15, 04:00, 05:30). It stops at Aksaray Metro, where the M1 and the T1 tram meet. The T1 runs 06:00 to midnight, so a night arrival has a walk or a taxi left for the old city. By rail it is the M11 to Gayrettepe, the M2 and then the M1 from Yenikapı: three legs with luggage, not priced here.
