Tap the card on the orange validator as you leave Alsancak station. Without that tap the fare to the end of the line stays charged.
No train leaves the airport between 00:54 and 05:12; bus 202 covers the night.
For Konak Square itself, get off at Hilal or Halkapınar and change to the M1 metro: TRY 35 more on the card (TRY 39 by bank card), with no combined ticket between the two.
The İzmirim Kart app’s Dijital Kart opens the same gates by QR code and carries no card fee, against TRY 200 for a physical card.
