Terravision’s Vatican City coach runs direct in about 40 minutes for EUR 6, but sets down on Via Crescenzio in Prati, about a kilometre from St Peter’s Square; most SIT coaches to Termini stop there too. The EUR 55 fixed taxi fare covers only addresses inside the Aurelian Walls, and the Vatican is outside them: the meter runs, capped at EUR 80.
