Hours. These are hard edges, not typical ones: no departure runs earlier than 08:10 or later than 22:10. The service is timed to Ryanair and Wizz Air arrivals, departing at the earliest 45 minutes after an actual arrival, so it follows those airlines rather than the clock. In the other direction it never runs before 04:30 or after 18:25.

An eSIM for Norway, installed before you fly, works in the arrivals hall: tickets, maps, the driver's messages.
A flight three or more hours late, or cancelled at short notice, can be owed up to €600 a passenger under EU and UK rules, depending on the flight. AirHelp charges only if the claim succeeds.

Torp stasjon is off airport grounds, reached by a shuttle bus that leaves right outside the terminal — a map by the main exit shows where. The ride takes about four minutes and connects with the trains.
Tickets
Buy the train ticket before you board: Bane NOR says it's sold from a machine in the arrivals hall, paid by card, since Torp stasjon itself has no ticket office.
The taxi rank
Taxis wait right outside the terminal, by the main entrance. There's free choice of taxi in Norway, and drivers are obliged to tell you the price before the trip starts, since no fare is fixed here.

It runs 08:10 to 22:10 and the terminal is locked at night. If your flight is outside those hours there is no coach and nowhere to wait — plan this before you fly, not after you land.
It is timed to Ryanair and Wizz Air. If you flew anything else, check that a departure actually exists for your arrival.
The operator calls itself faster than the train. To Oslo S it is not: about 101 minutes door to door against 97 to 99 by rail.
A family should check the child fare — 179 kr against 339 kr for ages 4 to 15 is close to half.
The cheapest ticket is valid from 2 hours before to 10 hours after the time you booked, but it cannot be changed.

55 kr, a separate ticket from the train: the shuttle is registered to Vy Buss and the train to Vy, and the county travel card does not cover the line. Only Vy sells the combination, and no combined fare is published — ask Vy directly.
The price on this page is only the shuttle. The train to Oslo is a second fare that no source would give up, so no total for the rail journey exists here.
Take this route if you are flying early or late — it runs from 04:42, while the coach does not start until 08:10.
It is also slightly faster to Oslo S than the coach, at 97 to 99 minutes against about 101, despite the change.
Nothing reaches Oslo between 22:43 and 04:42, and on Sunday mornings nothing before 06:41.
The shuttle meets every train, so its hours are the train's hours — much wider than the coach's at both ends, and the option that exists early in the morning, when Torpekspressen does not. Nothing runs to Oslo between 22:43 and 04:42, and on Sunday the first is not until 06:41.

Does the Shuttle to Torp station go to Oslo bussterminal and Oslo S?
This is a four-minute connection, not a journey to Oslo: it carries you to the railway station and no further. The onward train fare is not published — Vy quotes it only inside its own booking flow. Still, the rail route is real, runs far earlier and later than the coach, and is what the airport recommends first. Expect to pay this 55 kr on top of whatever Vy quotes you.
Does the Private transfer to Oslo Gardermoen Airport from Torp go to Oslo bussterminal and Oslo S?
The other airport, not the city: for a connecting flight.
Worth knowing
The airport does not call itself Oslo — the coach company does. Torp's own site calls itself Sandefjord lufthavn, aimed at travelers "between Asker and Arendal". The coach, though, is sold as an Oslo airport bus. If you booked believing this was an Oslo airport, that came from the people selling the seats.
The airport's "distances" section gives only one distance: 3 km to a motorway junction. Its taxi page lists journey times, not distances — Oslo is "approximately 80 minutes". The only actual distance from an authority is a railway distance of about 140 km, which runs the long way round the coast.
The coach runs 08:10 to 22:10 and not a minute outside, and the terminal is locked overnight — it is not possible to wait or stay there. An early-morning or late-night flight leaves you with no coach and nowhere to sit.
The coach is timed to Ryanair and Wizz Air, matched to their actual arrival and departure times, departing at the earliest 45 minutes after a real arrival from one of them. It is not timed to SAS or Widerøe flights. Which airline you flew decides whether this bus exists for you.
The operator claims the coach is both faster and cheaper than the train. It is not faster: door to door to Oslo S it takes about 101 minutes against the train's 97 to 99. The price claim cannot be checked, since no train fare for this journey is published.
Buy before the day you travel. A ticket bought on the day costs 360 kr against 339 kr booked ahead — the operator applies the on-board fare to same-day web and app purchases too. Advance purchase is also the only way to get a guaranteed seat.
Children and older travelers pay much less, which changes a family's answer: 179 kr for ages 4 to 15 and for 67-plus, against 339 kr; under-4s travel free, and two infants were accepted free on one adult. A student fare of 249 kr also exists.
A third bag costs 50 kr. Two cases up to 30 kg travel free with hand luggage; the piece after that is charged.
No taxi price can be stated: Sandefjord is over the size thresholds where Norway's maximum-fare regulation applies, so no regulated figure exists. The airport quotes a minibus from 4,800 kr for up to sixteen people — against a 339 kr coach seat, that only makes sense past fourteen travelers. Five- to eight-seat taxis are quoted on request only.
