Worth knowing
The coach to Stockholm is not a fixed timetable — it leaves 30 to 45 minutes after a flight actually lands. Some days have none at all, including Tuesdays; an ordinary Monday has just one coach, at 08:00.
The airport is 100 km from Stockholm, in the town of Nykoping. Nykoping station itself is 7 km away.
Expect longer than the airport's advertised journey times: it quotes 7 minutes to Nykoping, 60 to Stockholm, 40 to Norrkoping and 60 to Linkoping, but the coach operator's own timetable gives 11, 80, 55 and 90.
When the coach is not running, the only thing that leaves the airport is a rural bus to Nykoping. Between 22:05 and 05:26 on a Monday night nothing scheduled leaves — only an unpriced taxi remains.
No taxi fare is published here: Swedish rules let the large-car tariff above four passengers go unlisted in kronor on the price sticker ("ska inte anges i kronor"). Taxi pricing is unregulated, with no fare ceiling.
