EUR 5.50 is the second-class single for Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Centraal. A contactless bank card, e-ticket or OV-chipkaart all pay it; a single-use chipcard from the machine costs EUR 1.60 more. A child aged 4 to 11 travels all day on a EUR 2.50 Railrunner. The airport's own page still shows last year's EUR 5.20.

Hours. Eight an hour by day, four an hour after 21:00, every day, from the 05:39 to the 01:09. The night Intercity takes over from 02:03 — see the night train — except Tuesday to Wednesday, when the first direct train of the morning is this 05:39.

Hours. The Rotterdam–Utrecht night Intercity, from platforms 1–2, runs at 02:03, 03:03, 04:03 and 05:02, every night except Tuesday to Wednesday. On those nights nothing direct leaves for Amsterdam between the 00:59 Sprinter and 05:39; the planner instead routes 02:12, 03:12 and 04:12 via Amsterdam Bijlmer ArenA in 32 minutes, same fare, or take the N97 bus. On Saturday 3 October 2026 there is no direct train to Amsterdam Centraal at all — check the planner for engineering weekends.
