A1 minibus to SlavijaorBus 600 to Beograd Centar railway station?

The short answer

These do not go to the same place, so price is not the comparison. The A1 minibus to Slavija reaches Republic Square and Terazije, with Zeleni venac — the market square just below Terazije where bus 72 ends — at one end and Slavija, where the A1 ends, a kilometer and a half south; the Bus 600 to Beograd Centar railway station does not. The main railway station and the main bus station, not the center: Prokop is 2.7 km from Republic Square with no metro. Take it for an onward train or coach; take the 72 for the city.

The A1 minibus to Slavija is quicker: 45 min against 56 min.

A1 minibus to Slavija: 06:45–00:15. Bus 600 to Beograd Centar railway station: 04:30–23:55.

This is the only bus from the airport that costs anything. RSD 400 in cash to the driver, per person; a card, a Beograd Plus app or the free fare that carries every other bus in the city is no use on it.

It does not run at night. Last departure 00:15, next 06:45. The free 72N runs in the gap it leaves, until 02:30.

The airport says about 30 minutes; the City's timetable schedules 45 to Slavija. It stops at Savski trg seven minutes before the end, which is nearer the old town than Slavija is.

Every 15 minutes by day is not quite true: the timetable skips one slot every 75 minutes, and after 19:45 the departures are 21:15, 22:45 and 00:15.

Four hundred dinars buys seven stops instead of thirty-one and a bay for the bags. It buys nothing else the 72 does not give away.

It goes to the station, not the center. Prokop is a railway station in a cutting below Savski venac; for Republic Square or Slavija you would still be changing.

The first free bus of the morning: 04:30, twenty minutes before the 72.

Free on the same City resolution as the 72; nobody should be selling a ticket for it.

The airport says 30 to 40 minutes; the timetable schedules 56 to the station.
