Finding the stop

Buses 72, 72N and 600 and the A1 minibus all leave from the same stop, "Aerodrom Nikola Tesla /dolasci/", right outside the arrivals hall. There's no separate bay for each route — all four wait at the same kerb.

Tickets

The 72, 72N and 600 need no ticket at all — just get on. The A1 minibus is the only one that sells a ticket: pay the driver RSD 400 in cash as you board, since no app, card or machine is offered.

The taxi rank

Get a fixed-price certificate before you join the queue: four e-kiosks issue it, three in baggage reclaim and one in the arrivals hall. Hand it to the driver at the front of the rank outside arrivals — the fare printed on it is exactly what you pay.

Free since 1 January 2025, along with almost every city bus, tram and trolleybus. No ticket, card or validator needed. Only the A1 minibus and the E minibus lines are outside this free fare.

It is free, and that is the city's decision, not a promotion. If a driver or anyone at the stop asks for money for this bus, they are not the City. The only bus from this airport that sells a ticket is the A1.

The airport says 30 to 40 minutes; the city's timetable schedules 50 to 70 — expect the longer figure. Thirty-one stops through Ledine, Studentski grad and Fontana are what separate it from the A1, not the fare.

Every 25 minutes all day, every day. The last is 00:00 and the first 04:50; the 72N covers 00:30 to 02:30 and nothing public covers 02:30 to 04:30.

Zeleni venac is the end of the line and the bottom of the center, not Republic Square itself: 400 m up the hill to Terazije, a kilometer and a half to Slavija.

It leaves from the arrivals level. The night line and the A1 use the same stop.

The free fare rests on a resolution that the City could revoke with another; the gazette shows none as of 4 September 2026, and the timetable it rests on is valid to 31 December 2026.

The City's timetable, identical Monday to Sunday: 04:50, 05:25, 06:00 and then every 25 minutes to 23:30, plus one departure at 00:00 — 46 a day from the arrivals stop. Between 00:00 and 04:50 the night line 72N takes over at 00:30, 01:30 and 02:30.

It is the only free service that goes all the way to Republic Square; by day the 72 stops at Zeleni venac below it.

This is the only bus from the airport that costs anything. RSD 400 in cash to the driver, per person; a card, a Beograd Plus app or the free fare that carries every other bus in the city is no use on it.

It does not run at night. Last departure 00:15, next 06:45. The free 72N runs in the gap it leaves, until 02:30.

The airport says about 30 minutes; the City's timetable schedules 45 to Slavija. It stops at Savski trg seven minutes before the end, which is nearer the old town than Slavija is.

Every 15 minutes by day is not quite true: the timetable skips one slot every 75 minutes, and after 19:45 the departures are 21:15, 22:45 and 00:15.

Four hundred dinars buys seven stops instead of thirty-one and a bay for the bags. It buys nothing else the 72 does not give away.

The center is zone 2, RSD 3,500 — Not the cheapest zone. Zone 1 at RSD 2,700 is Novi Beograd. Republic Square, Terazije, Slavija, the old town and the main station are all in zone 2.

Four passengers at most, by the City's seat cap and the airport's rule; five people are two cars and RSD 7,000.

No authority states a taxi journey time. The 30 to 45 minutes here are the airport's own figure for its express minibus over the same road and the City's scheduled time for it, not a taxi figure.

Between 02:30 and 04:30 it is the only thing that leaves, at the same RSD 3,500; the price does not change at night.

Complaints go to the City, not the airport: the Secretariat for Inspection, [email protected], or 11-0-11 from a local line.
