Buy the 60-MINUTE ticket, not the 30. The bus is timetabled at 27 minutes on most weekday runs, the ticket must be valid when you board, and the Old Town is another ride beyond the station. EUR 1.80 removes the whole problem.

A checked bag needs its own EUR 0.60 ticket. The free allowance is smaller than most cabin luggage.

From three people with luggage, the Slovak Lines shuttle to Nivy is cheaper — EUR 1.35 a head with bags included.

The SMS ticket is the same price and lasts 40 minutes, but only works from a Slovak mobile number.

The airport says "from EUR 7.90". The operator's own engine has never offered less than EUR 8.90 from the airport. The cheaper fare is from the city bus station.

Three or more of you pay EUR 6.25 a head, not EUR 8.90.

COMING BACK: from 19 September 2026 the last coach from Vienna to this airport is 19:15. A late flight out of Bratislava has no coach from Vienna that reaches it.

FlixBus runs the same road and quotes a lower floor, but its price moved between EUR 3.99 and EUR 13.99 in a single day, so no fare is recorded for it.
