Only the 2,500 Ft airport ticket, or the 1,000 Ft add-on for an existing monthly pass, works on this line. No day ticket, travelcard, tourist card or concession is valid, and not the free travel granted to on-duty emergency workers. It rose from 2,200 Ft on 1 October 2025.

Worth knowing
Nothing you already hold will work on it. Not a day ticket, not a travelcard, not an ordinary Budapest Card — only the more expensive PLUS version of that card includes this bus.
It makes four stops in total: the airport, Kalvin ter, Astoria and Deak Ferenc ter. For anywhere else you will be changing regardless.
It does run around the clock, about every ten minutes — but so does the 200E.
If you hold a monthly Budapest pass, the add-on is 1,000 Ft rather than the full 2,500 Ft.
