It leaves you at Terminal Rodoviário, the urban bus terminal beside the railway station, calling at Teatro Municipal / Fórum Algarve and Estação CP on the way. Bus 16 stops at Estação CP 13 to 17 minutes from the airport, one stop and two minutes before its terminus. The Algarve line trains to Albufeira, Portimão and Lagos westbound, and Olhão, Tavira and Vila Real de Santo António eastbound, need their own CP ticket from the station.

The line ticket sold by the driver on lines 14 to 19, cash or contactless, valid one hour on that bus only. Children under four travel free; no child single is sold. A pre-purchased zone-4 ticket is EUR 2.11 (five for 10.55, ten for 21.10) but needs a Próximo card, EUR 5 in plastic or free as a digital card in the PICK app, so it pays only from the third ride.
