The ordinary Hamburg AB single is EUR 4.10 (child 6–14, EUR 1.50; under 6 free) — no airport supplement. The Tagesticket Gruppe covers up to five people of any age for EUR 16.40, valid until 06:00 the next morning, no time restriction. All are 7% cheaper in the hvv app: EUR 3.81, EUR 1.40 and EUR 15.25, where four singles beat the group ticket by one cent.
Luggage. A commuter train with standing room by the doors; busy at rush hour.
Hours. The first train is 04:32 daily, the last 00:12 (00:37 at the Hauptbahnhof); Friday and Saturday there is one more at 00:32. On those two nights the S1 runs all night from Poppenbüttel, but nothing leaves the airport itself before 04:32. It runs every 10 minutes from about 07:00 to 23:00, every 20 minutes otherwise.
