Prices are fixed by distance band, unrelated to time or day: PLN 29 to 2.9 km, 49 to 4.9, 69 to 7.9, PLN 89 for 8 to 11.9 km, PLN 109 for 12 to 14.9, PLN 129 for 15 to 18.9, up to PLN 169 at 27 km. The airport says the center is 11 km away (PLN 89); the taxi company's own map puts the Rynek in the PLN 109 ring and the station in the PLN 129 ring — expect PLN 109 for the Old Town. The price is per car, seating up to seven in a van; extra passengers ride free. Cards accepted; waiting PLN 35 an hour; beyond 27 km, agree the price in advance at no more than PLN 8 a kilometer.
