Two tickets: EUR 1.20 on the bus (driver, cards, coins, no note above EUR 10, or tap a bank card) and EUR 7.50 for the TER, bought before boarding — at SNCF machines in the terminal, at Vitrolles station's counter and machines, or online. The bus driver does not sell train tickets.

The bus keeps short hours: 06:24 to 21:24 on weekdays, 06:17 to 21:02 at weekends and holidays. Before the first bus and after the last, the A1 coach is the only public way in; the TER itself runs 06:08 to 22:15 on weekdays.

Allow 22 to 60 minutes, typically 38 on a weekday and 47 at weekends. No train leaves Vitrolles between 10:53 and 12:18 on weekdays (11:01–12:18 at weekends); arrive at the start of that gap and the journey stretches past 90 minutes.

EUR 8.70 a head: EUR 34.80 for four, EUR 69.60 for eight. Groups of three to nine can ask for the Région's mini-groupe discount on the train leg, 30 to 50 per cent off, though the price for this specific fare isn't published.

EUR 7.50 on every train: the Région publishes no Sunday, off-peak or evening variant of the single. The fare is set by distance.

From Saint-Charles the metro to the Vieux-Port is a separate EUR 1.70 RTM ticket, and it does not run in the evening from Monday to Wednesday during the NEOMMA works.

EUR 15 is the Métropole's own live figure and the airport shop's; the EUR 10 on the Métropole's 2025 sheet and in its 2025 tariff guide, still the documents a search turns up, is the price before 1 July 2026.

Tapping a bank card on board buys only the full-fare single. The EUR 7 youth fare, EUR 5 child fare and EUR 25 return are sold at the machines and Boutique in the bus station; cash on board is accepted only when the Boutique is shut. A 2026 price for the old ten-trip (EUR 65) and combined A1-plus-RTM (EUR 10.90) tickets isn't published.

The sheet says 30 to 50 minutes and the timetable 22 to 30; the airport's shop says 25. Between 07:30 and 08:50 and 16:00 and 17:50 the timetable itself allows 30, and the sheet's upper figure is for a motorway that is often full.

Last departure 01:50 (01:40 from November to April), first 04:05, every day. The bus-and-TER chain stops at 21:02–21:24; after that, only a taxi reaches Marseille, at the meter's night tariff.

A metro ticket is not included: a EUR 1.70 RTM single, or a bank card tapped at the gate, takes you on from Saint-Charles.

EUR 6.30 a head dearer than the chain at every size — EUR 120 against EUR 69.60 for eight — for a single vehicle, a hold for the bags, and the 19 hours a day the chain does not run.
