The online fare. Bought from the driver it is EUR 13.50 for an adult and EUR 8.00 for a child aged 6 to 14. Anyone may travel; it is not restricted to Lufthansa passengers.

Luggage. Hold luggage carried, in the coach hold.

Hours. Departures from Terminal 2 run 06:25 to 22:25, every 20 minutes daily. There is no coach at all outside those hours, which matters because the train is the only thing left and its night service is disputed.

Luggage. Racks by the doors; it is a commuter train and busy at rush hour.

Both S1 and S8 reach Hauptbahnhof, at the lower level. The Airport Express coach also ends here, via Schwabing/Nordfriedhof, so it is the one option that avoids the S-Bahn entirely. For onward trains to Salzburg, Innsbruck or elsewhere in Germany, get off here rather than at Marienplatz.

Whether the regulated taxi flat fare covers this address is not recorded here. Agree the fare before you set off. Ride times exclude walking and waiting. Every way from Franz Josef Strauss into Munich
