EUR 5.00 for the Alibus to Piazza Garibaldi plus EUR 4.60 for the Circumvesuviana's ordinary single ("corsa semplice aziendale", distance band NA5) onward to Sorrento — two separate tickets, EUR 9.60 together. The Circumvesuviana ticket is bought at the EAV booth or machines by the Garibaldi platforms, not on the Alibus.

Worth knowing

The Circumvesuviana's own last departure from Piazza Garibaldi toward Sorrento is 22:14, 33 trains a day from 5:39, roughly every 15 to 40 minutes (median 36) and taking 64 to 75 minutes. An Alibus after about 21:50 risks landing at Garibaldi too late for it.

The Circumvesuviana calls at Pompei Scavi Villa dei Misteri on the way, useful for the ruins without a separate ticket.

Campania Express, EAV's faster air-conditioned train on the same line, normally costs EUR 15.00 one way with a reserved seat, but EAV has suspended it from 1 October 2026 until further notice — check before you plan around it.
