Only a requested waiting charge and a EUR 4 booking fee may be added — no other supplement, including the usual fifth-passenger or luggage charges. Cannes taxis charge the same EUR 32 on a booking.

Not everything runs around the clock: the Tram line 2 runs 05:20–23:51, and the Bus 12+ along the Promenade runs 06:04–00:54. "The center" is not one place, and the answer changes
The tram starts right at Terminal 2, on the platform in front of it; from Terminal 1 it's the esplanade outside door A0. The hop between the two is free, so it makes no difference which one you land at — just board the tram marked Port Lympia, not line B.
Finding the stop
The 12+ bus stop is on the Promenade des Anglais, 150 metres from Terminal 1, opposite the Sheraton — quicker into town than the tram, and the last thing running at night. From Terminal 2, take the free tram one stop to Terminal 1 first.
Tickets
The machine on the tram platform sells only the €10 Aéro return; the ordinary €1.70 fare needs a card or the Android app. Get either at the Selectour desk inside the terminal, or at the machines one stop away at Grand Arénas.
The taxi rank
The rank is at entrance A3 at both terminals — Terminal 1 has its own door too, A1, by the airport's French-language page. Drivers take cards for any fare, and you can ask for a receipt, which is compulsory above €25.
Uber and Bolt
Uber's pickup point is the "Parking Pro" area: from Terminal 1, follow signs through the departures hall to exit D4; from Terminal 2, follow the yellow taxi signs to exit A3. Either way the app gives the exact spot once a driver is assigned.

The last tram is 23:51 Monday to Saturday and 23:46 on Sunday, 00:51 on Friday and Saturday nights; nothing then leaves the terminals until 05:20. The 12+ bus from the Promenade stop runs to 00:54.
Bags larger than 55 x 25 x 35 cm are outside the operator's stated rule, and trolleys are banned on board. The airport's free inter-terminal link is this same tram.
Eight people pay EUR 13.60 here against EUR 32 in one taxi. Buying eight Aéro tickets at the platform would be EUR 80.

On the Saturdays Corsica Ferries lists between 17 October 2026 and 2 January 2027 the fare is EUR 31 to 36 by date. A reclining seat adds from EUR 8 and a cabin from EUR 30 by day or EUR 56 by night. Neither ticket covers the other.
Two separate tickets: the tram at EUR 1.70 and the ferry from EUR 31.00 do not cover each other. The ferry fare changes by date: EUR 31 to 36 on the autumn and winter Saturdays Corsica Ferries lists.
There are few sailings: Corsica Ferries lists Saturdays only, and none on 10 October or 26 December. Check the date on Corsica Ferries' booking page before you book a flight.
The tram ends at Port Lympia, about 600 metres from the Corsica Ferries terminal on the quay. Bags above 55 x 25 x 35 cm are outside the tram's stated rule.
Corsica Ferries asks passengers to be at the port at least 90 minutes before sailing; the Port de Nice says foot passengers are usually there about an hour before.
Corsica Ferries sails from Nice to Bastia on some Saturdays only: 13:00 on 17 October, 23:45 on 31 October, 7 and 14 November and 12 December, 20:00 on 19 December and 20:30 on 2 January. Nothing sailed on 10 October or 26 December, and none from Sunday to Friday. Check the date on the booking page, and allow two and a half hours from the airport tram to the sailing.

The stop is on the Promenade, 150 m from Terminal 1; from Terminal 2, take the free tram to Terminal 1 first. There is no machine selling the EUR 2 card at the terminals, so load your Solo onto a card or the Android app before you walk out.
Sundays start late, at 07:04, and run every 19 minutes; take the tram before then.
Buy before boarding: the airport says no sales on board, and the operator's only on-board product is a EUR 4 Solo Secours.
A road along the seafront: the timetabled 12 to 19 minutes is a fair-weather figure, and it runs to 25 minutes to Garibaldi.

EUR 32 covers the whole car, up to eight passengers, no night, Sunday or luggage supplement. An ordinary taxi seats four; for five or more, ask at the rank for a larger one, or book through Taxi Nice Riviera (+33 4 93 13 78 78), which adds EUR 4.
The flat fare covers the perimeter only. West of boulevard Gambetta or north of the voie Mathis, the meter runs instead: EUR 4 to start, EUR 1.30 a kilometre by day, up to EUR 3.30 at night, EUR 8 minimum.
Ask for a stop or a detour on the way and the forfait no longer applies; the meter does.
No authority publishes a taxi journey time. The 20 minutes here is a working figure: the 12+ bus does the Promenade stop to Place Masséna on the same road in a timetabled 12 to 19 minutes. Allow more in summer traffic.
The driver must accept card payment for any amount and give a printed receipt above EUR 25 — so for this ride. Report overcharging to the Mairie de Nice taxi inspectorate; the airport can withdraw a driver's rank permit for it.

Worth knowing
The platform machine sells only the EUR 10 Aéro return; the ordinary EUR 1.70 Solo fare works too, but you need a card or the Android app to buy it. Get the Solo at the Selectour desk in the terminal, in the app, or at the machines at Grand Arénas, one free stop away. The Aéro is worth it only if you will use its open return.
The taxi is a flat EUR 32 to anywhere in Nice-Centre, for up to eight people, no supplement but booking or requested waiting. Eight people on the tram still pay only EUR 13.60 total. But against the EUR 10 Aéro return, the taxi wins for four or more: four Aéro tickets cost EUR 40 against EUR 32 for the taxi, though the Aéro includes the return trip.
The flat EUR 32 fare covers Nice-Centre: from boulevard Gambetta to boulevard Stalingrad and the port, and from the Promenade up to the voie Mathis — Masséna, Jean Médecin, the old town, the port and Nice-Ville are all inside; hotels west of Gambetta are not. Outside it the meter runs: EUR 4 to start, EUR 1.30 to 3.30 a kilometre, higher from 18:00 to 09:00 and all day Sunday. Ask for a stop or detour and the flat fare no longer applies; a booked taxi is EUR 36.
The last tram toward the center is 23:51 Monday to Saturday, 23:46 Sunday (with extra departures at 00:15 and 00:51 on Friday and Saturday nights); the 12+ bus runs later, last 00:54. Then nothing until the 05:20 tram, unless you walk 500 m to Grand Arénas for line 3 trams from 04:07. A taxi is EUR 32 at 03:00, same as at noon.
Assume a cabin-bag limit on the tram: only bags up to 55x25x35cm are officially allowed, and luggage trolleys are banned even between terminals. In the taxi, bags are free — no supplement is allowed. Children under 4 ride free; ages 4 to 11 need a named card to ride free, so a visiting family pays EUR 1.70 per child.
Lines 2 and B share the same platforms at both terminals and Grand Arénas, but only line 2 continues to the center — board the tram marked Port Lympia. The TER from Nice Saint-Augustin, a seven-minute walk from Terminal 1, also reaches Nice-Ville, but its fare is not published here.
