Going somewhere specific?
"The center" is not one place, and the answer changes
The railway station is in the basement of the terminal, and the airport says the service runs every day. Follow the train signs down from the arrivals hall; the platforms are directly beneath the building.
Finding the stop
Every bus and coach leaves from the stands to the right as you step out of the arrivals hall on the ground floor, each marked with its destinations. The Palermo coach is Prestia e Comandè; the others go to Trapani, Agrigento and towns along the coast.
Tickets
Coach tickets are sold online, from the desk at the coach stands (07:30 to 23:00) and on board, in cash or by contactless card — EUR 6.50 on board against EUR 6.00 bought ahead. A ticket bought ahead is valid on any run that day, seats permitting.
The taxi rank
Taxis wait at the arrivals exit whenever flights are landing, with a taxi information desk outside the doors; if none is there, the two cooperatives send one in about 20 minutes. Fares to Palermo are fixed by zone, EUR 39 to 50. Two marked stands offer taxi sharing at EUR 10 a head, only once four are aboard.
