The coach is cheaper and quicker to the station. The train earns its fare if you are staying near Notarbartolo, Francia or the northern stations, where it stops and the coach does not.

Weekday trains take 51 to 66 minutes; the 34-minute Genio Express leaves the airport only on Sundays and holidays.

Buy the ticket before the platform, from the machines or the app, and validate a paper one. Boarding without a ticket here costs EUR 5 on top of the fare.

The integrated Palermo day ticket does not cover the airport, which lies outside the city boundary.
