Bus 100 and metro B reach Náměstí Republiky itself, about 45 minutes in all. Trolleybus 59 and metro A are quicker, leaving you at Staroměstská or Můstek, both a short walk from the Old Town Square. At night the 907 stops here in 37 minutes, hourly from 01:05; the Airport Express also stops here overnight.

Buy the 90-minute PID ticket: CZK 50 on paper or at a machine, CZK 46 in the app, CZK 55 by SMS. It covers transfers across Prague. The 30-minute ticket will not reliably last the whole trip. Children under 15 and anyone 65 or over travel free, visitors included; children from 10 need proof of age.

Luggage. Free up to 25 × 45 × 70 cm; a larger bag needs a luggage ticket (CZK 25, or 23 in the app) with a 30- or 90-minute fare, and travels free with a 24- or 72-hour ticket. The 24-metre trolleybuses have a baggage area; the metro does not.

Hours. From Terminál 1 (one minute later from Terminál 2), every day. The 04:22 connects with the first metro at 04:45; the 23:32 with the last at 23:55. Every 3 to 10 minutes by day, up to 20 at the edges.

Luggage. The same rule as the trolleybus: free up to 25 × 45 × 70 cm, a luggage ticket above that. A standard city bus.

Hours. Bus departures from Terminál 1: first 05:40 on weekdays and 05:36 on Saturdays and Sundays, last 23:16 every day. The 23:16 reaches Zličín at 23:34 for the last metro B at 23:40. Every 10 to 20 minutes.

Hours. From Terminál 1 every night at 01:05, 02:05, 03:05 and 04:03 (a minute later from Terminál 2), hourly. The 04:03 turns back at Karlovo náměstí and does not reach Anděl.
