Worth knowing
From Terminál 1 (one minute later from Terminál 2), every day. The 04:22 connects with the first metro at 04:45; the 23:32 with the last at 23:55. Every 3 to 10 minutes by day, up to 20 at the edges.
Stamp a paper ticket once, at the airport stop before boarding — the validators are on the platform, not on the vehicle. An app ticket must be activated at least 60 seconds before you board.
Tickets: machines at the stops (cards accepted), the DPP info centres in both arrivals halls (daily 07:00–21:00), contactless terminals on board, or the PID Lítačka app.
A checked-size suitcase is over the free limit and needs a CZK 25 luggage ticket; PID's airport page says CZK 20. Either way it is the same time validity as your own ticket.
It was bus 119 until 6 March 2024, when the trolleybuses took over; older guides still say 119.
Change at Nádraží Veleslavín, the trolleybus terminus: the metro is beneath the same forecourt.
