SEK 157 of this ticket is not a fare. It is a charge for using the station, valid for one passage within 120 minutes, and it applies to every train that stops here.

Take bus 583 from the same building instead and the fee disappears. It costs SEK 43 and takes 23 minutes longer.

The fee has no reduced rate: an SEK 26 reduced ticket becomes SEK 183, so the fee is 86 per cent of it. Under-18s are exempt.

The station owner has published increases through 2030, so this total will rise even if the fare does not.

From three travelers it is cheaper than the ordinary commuter train — SEK 580 against SEK 600 — which is the reverse of what an express is meant to do, and it happens because the passage fee is charged per head with no group rate.

It still loses to the bus at every party size, by a wide margin.

The operator is A-Train, the same company that owns the station and levies the passage fee the commuter train has to pay.

It does not run at night.
