A single needs a EUR 1.10 card on top of the EUR 4.80 fare, and one card can carry the tickets for everyone with you; the SUMA 10 puts ten rides on one card for EUR 12.60, good for up to 15 people travelling together. Children under ten ride free with an adult, two per ticket.

Taxis from the airport run on the meter, tariff 5 by day and 6 at night, weekends and holidays, with the airport supplement already inside the EUR 12.50 minimum; to the centre expect about EUR 20, not a fixed fare. Every taxi takes cards, gives change for EUR 20, charges nothing for luggage and prints a receipt showing the tariff used.

Buy AB+, not AB. The airport is its own "+" fare area: an AB single is EUR 2.80 and will not open the gate; AB+ is EUR 4.80. Even Manises, two stops away, costs EUR 3.50 from here.
Three or more: One suma 10 for zones AB+, EUR 12.60 plus a EUR 1.10 card. Ten rides on one card, up to fifteen people through the gate together, valid on the metro, the 150 and 150N, EMT buses and Cercanías, and the spare rides work for the way back. Singles cost EUR 4.80 each.
The first purchase needs a card: EUR 1.10 in cardboard, EUR 2.20 in plastic, reusable. Several singles can be loaded on one card and used by a group.
The EUR 12.60 is a reduced price in force to 31 December 2026 by Decreto ley 6/2026; the base price is EUR 21.00. The single is not reduced.
Aena has the last Monday-to-Thursday train at 22:36 (line 5) and FGV's own November 2025 data at 23:57; after either, the 150 runs to 23:15 and the 150N from 23:00. On Sundays the first train is 07:07 and nothing else public reaches the airport before it.
Metrovalencia's tariff page says the TuiN is validated on entry and on exit; keep whatever card you use to hand until you are through the exit gate.
The stored-value TuiN, EUR 1.20 a ride, is on the same tariff page with a note that it must be registered online and collected at a city customer center; this page does not count on buying one at the airport.
Line 5 was closed between Alameda and Marítim from 25 June to 30 August 2026 for tunnel works. Xàtiva and Colón were not affected.

The airport is its own fare zone, marked "+". A Metrovalencia single into Valencia (zone AB+) is EUR 4.80, not the AB fare of EUR 2.80; even Manises, two stops away, costs EUR 3.50 from here against EUR 1.50 elsewhere in zone B. Add EUR 1.10 for a card if you have none — EUR 5.90 total for one person to Xàtiva — but a second person on the same card adds only EUR 4.80. The EUR 9.00 24-hour SUMA T+ day ticket is not worth it for a single ride.

It stops in the old town itself and runs all night, but not on Sundays or holidays — then the metro is the only way in until the 150N starts at 23:00.
From Sunday to Thursday, the 150N runs every 45 minutes from 23:00 to 05:00, 38 minutes to Avinguda de l'Oest by Carrer de l'Hospital, for the same EUR 4.80 with no night supplement; the first 150 of the morning leaves at 05:20, the first metro at 05:27. On Friday and Saturday nights the metro runs late trains at 00:47 and 02:07 on line 3 and 00:15, 00:55 and 01:35 on line 5; the 150N then starts at 03:00, every 45 minutes to 04:30 on Fridays and to 06:00 on Saturdays and eves of holidays. The one gap is Sunday and holiday mornings: nothing runs between the last 150N at 06:00 and the first metro at 07:07 — take a taxi.
A taxi from the airport uses Tarifa 5 by day, Tarifa 6 at night, with a EUR 5.40 airport supplement built into a EUR 12.50 minimum. The 2026 meter is EUR 2.00 flag plus EUR 1.36/km on weekdays 07:00–21:00, or EUR 2.60 flag plus EUR 1.48/km at night, on Saturdays and on holidays; waiting is EUR 24.95–28.70/hour, with a EUR 3.00 night surcharge during the five days of Fallas and on 24 and 31 December. Eight kilometers clears the EUR 12.50 minimum, so expect roughly EUR 20 to the center, not a fixed fare. Lines 3 and 5 share the airport station and the same eleven stops to Xàtiva; line 5 continues to Colón, Alameda and Marítim for the port and beach, line 3 to Colón and the university district. Metrobús 106 and 132 also cross the airport but neither enters Valencia, and there is no Renfe station. Children under ten ride the metro free with an adult, two per ticket; under-sixes ride MetGo's buses free, two per adult. Free travel for under-15s and half-price youth passes need a resident's personalised card, so they do not apply to visitors.
