Worth knowing

Every 30 minutes for most of the day, with no 07:00 bus and 45-minute gaps at 16:00, 16:45 and 17:30; the 18:30 runs only at weekends and holidays. After 22:30 the bus waits for the evening arrivals and leaves 30 to 40 minutes after each landing, until 01:00.

After 22:30 there is no timetable: the bus leaves 30 to 40 minutes after each arriving flight, timed to Croatia Airlines' landings, until 01:00. A flight landing later than that has no bus until 06:00.

The bus station is a kilometre and a half from Ban Jelačić Square, with trams outside it; the ZET tram needs its own ticket.

Four people pay EUR 36 here against at most EUR 35 in the airport's contracted taxi to the door, and EUR 10.60 on bus 290.

The online shop closes sales 24 hours before departure and the ticket must be printed; for a same-day ride, ask the driver.
