One Preisstufe A single, EUR 3.80, covers both the SkyTrain and the train; a child EUR 2.10. A Deutschlandticket and a Rail&Fly ticket cover both as well. Without a ticket the SkyTrain is paid by tapping a bank card or phone at its entrance and exit, at a distance-based price that is never more than a regular ticket.

Luggage. No luggage trolleys on the SkyTrain; the cabins have space for suitcases.

Hours. The SkyTrain sets the hours: 03:45 to 00:45 daily, every 5 to 7 minutes. From the far station about seven trains an hour reach the Hauptbahnhof by day, and they carry on through the night — 01:34, 01:57 and 03:33, plus 02:33 on Friday and Saturday nights — when the SkyTrain has stopped. Until 25 October 2026 a shuttle bus links the terminal and that station from 02:15 to 03:30.
