The 120-minute ticket: PLN 7 on paper from a machine or kiosk, PLN 6.60 in the Transport GZM app or from the validator with a card. Cheapest is to tap a contactless bank card on the validator boarding and again alighting: PLN 5.70 for a ride of 41 to 60 minutes by the timetable; skip the second tap and it is PLN 6.60. The 40-minute ticket does not cover 48 minutes. Reduced fares are half.

Four pay PLN 13.80 on the Bus AP. The car meets you in arrivals and takes you to any address in Katowice in about 40 min, at a price fixed when you book ahead with Kiwitaxi.

Buy the 120-minute ticket, not the 40-minute one: the ride is timed at 48 minutes to the station and 51 to Sądowa, and the ticket's validity is judged by the timetable.
The cheapest fare needs two taps: a bank card on the validator as you board and the same card as you leave, PLN 5.70. Without the second tap the system keeps PLN 6.60.
The driver sells nothing. Machines on the forecourt and in the terminals sell paper tickets; validate on boarding.
From Sądowa it runs back to the airport all night too: at :00 and :30 from 04:00 to 23:30, then hourly at :30.
