It is free, and that is the law, not a promotion. Nobody at the stop or on the tram should be selling anything; the only ticket sold in the country is first class on a train.

Hamilius is the upper town, the Gare Centrale is the station quarter: five tram minutes apart on the same line. Stay on past Hamilius for the station.

Twenty-six minutes to Hamilius is the scheduled time on every departure; the airport's 10 km is to the station, which is 31 to 32 minutes.

Last from the airport 00:06 every day, first 05:03 on weekdays and about 05:05 at weekends. Between those nothing public leaves Findel.

The stop is not at the terminal door: it is at the far end of the forecourt beyond the bus quays. Follow the signs for "Tram" or "T1".

The tram reached the airport on 2 March 2025. Guides written before then send you to a bus; the bus still runs, but the tram is the one every eight minutes.

It is free. Nobody sells a ticket for it and nobody should ask you for one.

It goes to the upper town, not the station: for the Gare centrale take bus 29 from quay 3 or stay on the tram.

The airport's FAQ says lines 16 and 29 both "pass by the Luxembourg Central Train Station". Only the 29 does; the 16 runs through Kirchberg to Hamilius.

Every 15 to 20 minutes by day on weekdays, every 30 in the evening and all weekend; the tram from the same forecourt is every 8.

The 00:07 is the last thing to leave the airport at night, one minute after the last tram. Then nothing until 04:42.

Bus 6 follows the same road from quay 1 to Luxexpo, Kirchberg and Hamilius (22 to 28 minutes, 05:13 to 22:44, Sundays from 09:43) and is equally free; take whichever comes first.
