The Bus 29 to the Gare centrale reaches Hamilius, the tram and bus interchange a few steps from Place d'Armes, and the Gare centrale five tram minutes down the same line; the Bus 302 to Trier (Germany) does not. Trier, in Germany, via Munsbach and Wasserbillig — nowhere in Luxembourg city. The line's other end is the Howald business park south of the city, not the center.

It is free, and it is the fastest thing to the station: 18 to 23 minutes against the tram's 31.

It does not go to the upper town. Hamilius and Place d'Armes are the tram or the 16; from the Gare centrale the tram is five minutes on to Hamilius, also free.

The first bus of the morning from the airport, 04:42 on weekdays and 04:49 at weekends, twenty minutes before the tram.

Last 23:49 every day, seventeen minutes before the last tram, which also serves the Gare centrale.

Cents-Hamm is a railway halt on the way, ten to thirteen minutes out, for CFL trains without going to the main station.

Weekdays only, afternoons only. Twelve buses from 12:29 to 20:29 on Monday to Friday working days; none at the weekend, none on public holidays, none before 12:29. A morning arrival waits, or goes by tram and train.

Buy before you board. The driver sells nothing: the Administration withdrew on-board paper tickets and the mKaart. The CFL go app is the practical way from the airport; a Deutschland-Ticket also works.

EUR 3 is for the German stops. Inside Luxembourg — to Munsbach or Wasserbillig — the same bus is free, like everything else.

Children under 12 ride free with a ticket-holder aged 12 or over.

Quay 5 is not on the forecourt: it is up on the route de Trèves, a short walk north past Parking P1 with a pedestrian crossing. Allow five minutes from the terminal.

Toward the airport it starts from Trier Theodor-Heuss-Allee, eight runs from 05:15 to 09:15 on weekday mornings, 43 to 54 minutes to the airport's quay 6. The 301 and 303 to Trier that other guides name start at Kirchberg and do not stop at the airport.
