EUR 128 is about sixteen times the advertised coach fare. It buys a door and a boot at an hour when nothing else runs, and for one or two travelers it is very hard to justify otherwise.

The predetermined fare covers Milan. There is no predetermined fare to Bergamo, 6 km away, so that ride is metered.

A standard taxi seats four. A party of five is two cars and EUR 256, because the fare is per ride and not per person.

The price is fixed when you book, not by the meter. Traffic around Milan decides the two hours Kiwitaxi quotes.
