Flibco shuttleorATB line 1?

The short answer

These do not go to the same place, so price is not the comparison. The Flibco shuttle reaches Milano Centrale, where every coach terminates; the ATB line 1 does not. This bus goes to BERGAMO, not to Milan. It is the right answer if Bergamo is where you are going, or if you are connecting to a train — the station is 10 minutes away. It is not a way into Milan.

The ATB line 1 is quicker: 10 min against 55 min. The Flibco shuttle varies between 50 and 75 minutes.

Flibco shuttle: 04:15–23:45. ATB line 1: hours not recorded.

The 8 EUR applies only if you book in advance. Turning up and buying is a different, unpublished price.

The ticket is valid for the whole day rather than one departure, so missing a coach is not the disaster it is at some airports.

A booking can be canceled or changed up to one day before departure — not on the day, which is the day a delayed flight becomes a problem.

It reaches Bergamo, not Milan. From Bergamo station a Trenord train runs to Milano Centrale, but that is a second ticket and a second leg, and no total for the pair is stated here because neither operator publishes one.

The current timetable is the summer one, in force from 3 August, so the first and last departures change with the season and are not stated here.

ATB's "Family & Friends" fare is urban-zone only and runs on Saturdays and holidays. The airport is three zones, so it does not apply to this journey.
