The ordinary Mi1-Mi3 ticket, EUR 2.20, covers 90 minutes of unlimited rides, including changing lines through the gates. No airport supplement. Children under 14 travel free with ID. Day ticket EUR 7.60, three days EUR 15.50, carnet of ten EUR 19.50. A tapped bank card or phone pays the same fare and caps at the day rate from the fourth ride.
A private car to your door: €75 for four
Four pay €8.80 on the Metro M4. The car meets you in arrivals and takes you to any address in Milan in about 20 min, at a price fixed when you book ahead with Welcome Pickups.

Worth knowing
First train 05:40 Monday to Saturday, 06:00 on Sundays and holidays; last 00:26 every day. Every 3 to 4 minutes by day, every 6 after 20:00.
The Duomo is not on the M4: change at San Babila to M1 for one stop, or at Sforza-Policlinico to M3 at Missori. For Milano Centrale, M3 from Missori is five more stops. The change is on the same ticket, within 90 minutes.
Tap the same card in and out. A card that is not tapped out is charged the fare to the farthest station plus an extra; a card can pay for one person at a time; and cards do not work on Trenord's S lines from Dateo or Forlanini.
ATM's printed sheet says every 1 to 3 minutes at weekday peaks; as of September it is every 4. Either way you will not wait long. After 20:00 it is every 6.
Last train from Linate 00:26; the NM4 bus takes over at 00:40 on the same ticket. First train 05:40, or 06:00 on a Sunday.
Anything over 90 cm on a side is refused at the gates. Ordinary suitcases are carried free under the current rules.
