Buy on your phone before you board, not at the machine and not on board: EUR 16.30 against EUR 17.40 and EUR 21.40. The site itself says the purchase "doit être absolument réalisé avant la montée dans la rame", and warns that some machines are out of order.

It is EUR 16.30 whichever station you get off at. From the airport you may alight at Meyzieu ZI, La Soie or Part-Dieu for the same fare; toward the airport you may board at any of the three.

The ticket buys nothing on TCL. Métro, tram and bus onward need a separate EUR 2.10 ticket, which the agent on board sells.

For Bellecour, Vieux Lyon or Perrache, get off at Vaulx-en-Velin La Soie after 21 minutes and take Métro A; Rhônexpress's own advice, and under 45 minutes in its words.

Under-12s are free with an adult, and the agent may ask for proof of age. From the twelfth birthday it is EUR 10.70.

This is the thinner of the two cheap routes: hourly for most of the day and finished by 21:26 from the airport, on the timetable in effect until 31 August 2026.

The bus wanders through Pusignan for 25 to 28 minutes before Meyzieu ZI; the T3 then takes 29 minutes to Part-Dieu, every 5 to 9 minutes at peak and every 15 in the evening. Allow an hour and a quarter door to door.

It only reaches Part-Dieu. For Bellecour or Perrache take the C200 to La Soie and Métro A instead; the T3 passes La Soie too, but the C200 gets there sooner.

Bus 47 was renumbered 248 on 31 August 2026; the stop names are unchanged and the airport's own page already calls it the 248. Old maps and two of the airport's pages still say 47.

Validate twice: on the bus and on the tram, inside an hour of the first tap. With the bus at 28 minutes and a tram every few minutes, it is comfortable.
