Ask for the fixed EUR 40.00 fare before you set off. It is regulated and it includes luggage, but it is not what you get by default — the meter is.
Like every road option it stops at Piazzale Roma. St Mark's is another 39 minutes and EUR 9.50 by vaporetto.
The seat limit is not stated. The Comune sets four seats as a minimum and names no maximum, so a larger vehicle may exist, but no fare for one is published.
For two people going to Piazzale Roma it costs about the same as two Aerobus tickets plus the wait, so it is worth considering with heavy luggage.
